Alexis studied in Buenos Aires and Barcelona before relocating to London in 1998, where he attended the National Film and Television School. Before committing himself to Another World: Rocky + Lulu, Alexis was occupied with directing several short films that have been screened at film festivals worldwide. He received wide public and critical acclaim for his feature debut Glue, which was showered with awards including the MovieSquad Award at the IFFR in 2007, and his second feature Unmade Beds.

In the course of her career, Pipilotti has been occupied mainly with the creation of video art and multimedia installations. With works held by many art collections worldwide and exhibitions in museums all over the world like MoMa in New York and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, she was already an established artist before directing her first feature Pepperminta. Being one of the most talented (and likeable) young filmmakers to emerge in Asia in recent years, Ho Yuhang has already established himself as a real audience and critics darling. His third and most renowned feature film Rain Dogs was the first Malaysian film to be nominated in the Venice International Film Festival in 2006. At The End Of Daybreak, his much anticipated fourth feature, was screened at festivals worldwide and won the Netpac Award at Locarno International Film Festival and two Asian Film Awards.
